Clearwater Travel Plaza is looking for a candidate who has experience doing general facility and grounds maintenance work. This is a part or full-time position. You are responsible for the upkeep of the general facilities and areas, inside and outside of the buildings. Maintain well-kept, safe facilities, including the fuel center, main building, and parking lots.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining a well-kept interior, in all departments. Duties include trouble shooting equipment malfunctions, ensuring all restrooms are properly functioning, ensure equipment and maintenance areas are well stocked, clean, organized and clutter-free.
• Maintain a neat and clean exterior. Duties include ensuring the carwash is properly running, assist with filling customer propane, ensure parking lot and sidewalks are clear of snow, ice and debris; ensure landscaping and fence lines are well kept with trimmed trees and bushes and clear of weeds and trash.
• Available to pick-up parts and items we need in an emergency.
• Strictly follow preventive maintenance schedule, so that all areas are maintained and thoroughly cleaned regularly.
• Prioritize daily workflow, projects, and duties; communicate the status of projects to the appropriate manager.
• Respond quickly to all maintenance pages and phone calls.
• Be familiar with all cleaning chemicals and how to safely handle them. Know where the MSDS sheets are for reference.
• Be self-motivated, proactive and productive while working, making yourself, the team, and Clearwater Travel Plaza the Obvious Choice.
• Communicate with supervisor, staff, customers/guests, and vendors in a positive and professional manner.
• Comply with safety rules, company policies, and scheduling requirements.
