Junior Level Location:
Coon Rapids, MN Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Shift:
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (hours flexible) with on-call rotation

Opportunity:
We are hiring a direct-hire Industrial Facilities Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility. This company pioneered the industry and was the first independent company in the world to focus solely on medical device materials for safety. We are seeking an individual who has facility maintenance experience within an industrial environment specifically.
What You'll Be Doing:
Performs preventive maintenance procedures on building engineering systems and laboratory equipment on a scheduled basis and in accordance with regulatory and safety requirements. Inspects HVAC units for proper operation and performs adjustments as required. Performs basic rough and finished carpentry work in construction and repair of structures. Performs basic electrical installation and repair work and checks the functionality of safety systems. Identifies and performs basic repairs of plumbing leaks or breaks. Cleans and inspects boilers and treats water with proper chemicals. Assists with unscheduled repairs/troubleshooting of building and laboratory equipment. Maintains grounds in clean and orderly manner including, but not limited to mowing trimming, weeding, planting etc. Assist in all phases of project work involving moving, remodeling and equipment installation. Completes daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures. May need to respond to emergency calls after scheduled working hours, weekends, and holidays. May pick up parts and supplies at local vendors. Other duties as assigned What makes you a great fit: High school diploma or GED required. At least 3 years of maintenance experience is required. On-Call Rotation Including Weekends required; on-call 1 week per month Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or trade training preferred. Animal testing of small and large animals is done onsite. Candidates need to be comfortable working around this controlled environment. Clean driving record to use company vehicle.
