Job Description

Caron Fencing company is looking for a Fence Installer to join our team. Our ideal candidate has held some construction and carpentry positions, whether in fence installation or a similar field. Experience in welding, wood manufacturing, vinyl manufacturing, or concrete work is a plus, as is formal training in any related discipline. You must have excellent physical strength and stamina to keep up with this work. While this is not a supervisor role, experience managing crews is beneficial.
Fence Installer Duties and Responsibilities:
Establish the layout and design of fences Preparing the site by digging holes and trenches in which the fencing will be positioned. Mix cement for installation Install the main posts Cut and install fence rails Attach pickets or panels If needed, inspecting property plans to determine the parameters of each site when these are unclear Checking for gaps and vulnerabilities in the fencing and correcting these, if need.
Fence Installer Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED certificate Valid drivers license Qualified training and/or carpentry and construction experience is preferred Forklift and skid loader experience preferred Physical strength and stamina with the ability to lift at least 70lbs consistently is required Ability to operate the appropriate hand and power tools and equipment is required Basic measurement skills. A firm grasp of relevant math Perceptive, with good judgment. Interpersonal abilities, including excellent communication and customer service skills Capacity to fulfill your duties independently and on time. A team player
