Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our manufacturing facility. The Maintenance Technician will perform a wide range of maintenance and repair duties to support the safe and efficient operation of equipment and infrastructure in our manufacturing plant. This individual will work closely with other departments to ensure minimal downtime and a clean, safe, and productive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and maintenance of production equipment and machinery. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Conduct building maintenance including plumbing, lighting, HVAC, and minor structural repairs. Follow preventative maintenance schedules and document all work performed. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests. Maintain clean and safe work areas in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Assist with installation, relocation, or removal of machinery and equipment. Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, and request replacements as needed. Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding maintenance issues and priorities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred. 2+ years of experience in industrial or facilities maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Basic computer skills for documentation and work order tracking. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and manuals. Basic knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and general building maintenance. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of PLCs and industrial automation systems. Experience with welding, fabrication, or HVAC systems. Certification in forklift operation, electrical, or HVAC a plus.
