Maintains electrical, plumbing, and other operating facilities. Sets up, installs and operates variety of machine tools, and fits and assembles parts to fabricate or repair machine tools and maintain industrial machines with preventive maintenance by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities Perform building maintenance, including roof top work, HVAC filter changes, fence repairs, and condenser washing.
Lawn work, including mowing and weed control.
Maintain manufacturing equipment, including oil changes, filter changes, minor repairs as learned on the job.
Fill in for garbage and recycling collection as needed.
Other minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical repairs as learned on the job.
general housekeeping as needed.
Maintain roadways and walkways, including pothole repairs as needed.
Parts run as needed.
Operate Skid-Steer, forklift, and scissor lift as needed. Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to work from various squatting, kneeling, or bending positions.
- Ability to work with arms above head.
- Ability to work from crawling or lying positions.
- Ability to safely use hand, air, power tools, and machinery.
- Ability to understand and operate all safety equipment in the area.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
