Job Description

Maintenance Technician We are searching for an experienced Maintenance Technician at our Mankato, MN facility.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Senneca Holdings is seeking dynamic, high achievers ready to learn and grow with our organization as Maintenance Technician in our Mankato location. This role works three (3) 12-hour days on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. This full-time position operates in a multi-craft environment, focusing on problem-solving, exceeding customer expectations, and demonstrating a commitment to excellence. Perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance (PMs), and minor electrical repairs. Utilize robotics experience (if available) to enhance maintenance operations. Commit to working safely, performing quality work, and responding promptly to internal customers. Demonstrate proven mechanical abilities to troubleshoot and repair machines. Diagnose and repair electrical equipment with proven electrical skills. Utilize metal fabrication skills involving welding, cutting, and construction. Safely use shop tools and equipment. Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and materials used. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations. Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Required Qualifications:

Prefer experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial facility. Proven mechanical abilities to troubleshoot and repair machines. Proven electrical skills to diagnose and repair electrical equipment. Proven metal fabrication skills involving welding, cutting, and construction. Proven experience utilizing shop tools safely. High school diploma or equivalent. Prefer post-high school education specifically in an industrial trade-related field.

Desired Qualifications:

Technical aptitude and experience with industrial maintenance. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Ability to safely lift 50 pounds.  Robotics experience is helpful but not required.
