Performs basic preventative maintenance as required for all plant equipment. Repair injection molding, auxiliary equipment, … with direction from Sr. Maintenance. Documents all maintenance / repairs performed in MSO database. Performs fabrication duties as directed. Maintains clean works area and continuously practices good housekeeping standards. Success:

High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of relevant experience or technical college degree with little to no experience. Certificates in hydraulics, plumbing, or electricity preferred. Must have a basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel. Technical writing skills. Basic English reading ability and comprehension. Intermediate math skills. Ability to measure volts, amps, and resistance. This position may require occasional overtime hours worked according to business need. Adheres to all Lock Out / Tag Out and OSHA procedures. Mechanical aptitude for basic repairs. Knowledge of hand tools and what they are used for. Dedicated to safety, especially when operating a forklift, hoist, or crane. Forklift, Scissor Lift, Boom Lift, … certification or the ability to pass company provided training. Overhead crane certification or the ability to pass company provided training.

Physical & Mental Demands:

Able to lift 55 lbs. to shoulder height on an on-going basis. Push, pull, bend, twist, and stoop on an on-going basis Grip and hold parts for quality inspection. Use miscellaneous hand tools. Ability to be on feet for -10 hours with breaks. Able to work overhead on ladders, scissor lift, boom lift, etc. Ability to work around fumes and high temperatures. Work Environment:

This position is often required to conduct business on the manufacturing floor. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work near moving mechanical parts and could be exposed to chemical or electrical shock risk. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat, and noise levels that are typically moderate.

Protective Clothing Required:

Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, FR level 2 clothing, Steel toe work boots/ safety shoes required while in production areas, Cut-resistant Gloves, Chemical-resistant Gloves.

Pay:

$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
