Stair Lift & Residential Elevator Technician/Installer - Star Lift LLC North St. Paul, MN | $24-$33/hour About Star Lift LLC Star Lift LLC helps people remain safe, mobile, and independent in their homes. We specialize in the installation, service, and repair of stair lifts, residential elevators, and vertical platform lifts throughout Minnesota and surrounding markets. We are looking for a mechanically skilled, dependable technician who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and working directly with customers. Direct stair lift or elevator experience is a plus, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who already has a strong mechanical or skilled-trade background. What You'll Do Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair stair lifts, residential elevators, and vertical platform lifts Diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment problems Perform installations and repairs in customers' homes Prepare, inspect, repair, and service equipment at our North St. Paul shop Use hand and power tools to complete installations safely and professionally Communicate with customers and explain equipment operation when needed Maintain a clean and organized work environment Follow company and manufacturer safety procedures Work independently as well as alongside other technicians Occasionally travel for installations outside the Twin Cities Who We're Looking For Experience in one or more of the following areas is strongly preferred: Mechanical or equipment repair Stair lift or elevator installation/service Residential construction or remodeling Carpentry Electrical or low-voltage work Automotive or equipment repair HVAC, appliance repair, garage door installation, or similar skilled trades Industrial or building maintenance Qualifications 2+ years of professional mechanical, installation, construction, maintenance, automotive, electrical, or similar hands-on experience required 4+ years of relevant experience preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Comfortable using hand and power tools Ability to work accurately without constant supervision Dependable, professional, and comfortable working inside customers' homes Valid driver's license and driving record acceptable for company vehicle use Ability to reliably commute to North St. Paul, MN Willingness to occasionally travel for out-of-area installations Physical Requirements This is a hands-on field position.

Regularly climb and work on stairways Bend, kneel, crouch, carry, and maneuver equipment Safely lift and move heavy equipment and components Perform mechanical work using hand and power tools throughout the workday Pay $24.00-$33.00 per hour , depending on mechanical experience, construction experience, and previous stair lift or residential elevator experience.
