MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Sela Investments | Twin Cities Metro Area Are you an experienced maintenance professional who enjoys variety, solving problems, and making a difference for residents? Sela Investments is looking for a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team and support multiple multifamily properties throughout the Twin Cities Metro Area. This is a full-time, nonexempt position for someone who takes pride in quality work, communicates well with residents, and can confidently handle day-to-day repairs and maintenance with minimal supervision.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance, repairs, and minor troubleshooting of building systems.
• Respond to and complete resident work orders and emergency repairs in a timely, professional manner.
• Support apartment unit turns by completing maintenance and repair work needed to prepare units for occupancy.
• Perform seasonal interior and exterior grounds maintenance.
• Assist with inspections, inspection readiness, special projects, and renovations.
• Travel between properties and work closely with the Maintenance and Property Management teams.
• Communicate professionally with residents and help resolve their maintenance needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO

• Has 3+ years of residential, multifamily, or related maintenance experience.
• Has strong general maintenance, handyman, and light carpentry skills.
• Can diagnose and repair common issues such as leaky faucets/toilets, blinds and closet doors, minor drywall/sheetrock, windows and locks, caulking, and basic appliance repairs.
• Has a high school diploma or GED.
• Communicates effectively and builds positive relationships with residents.
• Works well independently and as part of a larger team.
• Is resourceful, detail-oriented, dependable, and a strong problem solver.
• Has a valid driver's license.
• Can successfully complete a background check.
• Can lift up to 75 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.

A PLUS —

BUT NOT REQUIRED

• Experience with Yardi, AppFolio, Rent Café, or other property management software.
• Bilingual communication skills.

SCHEDULE

Full-time, Monday-Friday 40-50 hrs. The position expects an evening/weekend/ emergency on-call rotation. PAY $33.00- $40.00 per hour + OT eligibility
