New Challenges, Inc. is currently hiring a full time maintenance technician. NCI provides services to adults with disabilities in multi-unit apartment complexes and single family homes. Our residential locations are throughout Dakota, Washington, Hennepin and Chisago counties. We are seeking candidates to perform general maintenance needs. HVAC knowledge, plumbing and small electrical experience are required. Duties will also include appliance repair/troubleshooting, painting, basic plumbing and light carpentry. This position will be 40 hours per week. All applicants must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Experience in appliance repair, experience with riding lawn mowers, push mowers and snow blowers is preferred. Applicants must be able to lift over 40 lbs, work independently, have good problem solving techniques, have good interpersonal relationship skills and communicate well.
