Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal operation and safety of our facility's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience in appliance repair, HVAC system maintenance, and a proactive approach to equipment upkeep. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, functional environment that supports the well-being of our residents and staff. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration issues promptly to minimize downtime. Install, maintain, and upgrade appliances and mechanical systems in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Read schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions. Operate company vehicles for maintenance-related tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct construction or renovation projects as needed to improve facility infrastructure. Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance purposes. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with expertise in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and mechanical systems repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical documentation. Experience with HVAC system repair, air conditioning units, and kitchen equipment maintenance. Knowledge of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) procedures within a healthcare or similar environment. Ability to operate construction tools safely and effectively; construction experience is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude toward residents and staff. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles responsibly. Leadership qualities with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
