Due to our rapid growth and current development projects with multiple Fortune 500 companies, we are looking for a team-focused, driven, and friendly Facilities & Maintenance Specialist to join our team! Primary Responsibilities Operate forklifts and scissor lifts to access equipment and move materials; certification required (training provided for candidates who are not yet certified) Drive company vehicles as needed to transport tools, parts, and equipment Perform grounds upkeep as needed, including landscape trimming and snow removal Follow and help enforce workplace safety policies and procedures across the facility Assist with coordinating and scheduling outside vendors and contractors Develop preventive maintenance procedures from equipment manuals, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery, electronics, and mechanical systems to identify root causes; repair equipment and tools and test repairs to confirm proper function Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts inventory, and track, resolve, and report on issues related to building, grounds, and equipment, all documented in MaintainX Build knowledge of new and existing equipment to provide technical support and training to others Work with the Facilities & Safety Supervisor to order and manage stock of replacement parts, tools, and supplies Respond to maintenance emergencies, including after hours Assist with facilities planning for equipment relocations and inter-office moves Hours and Benefits Full-time, up to 40 hours per week

Monday-Friday:

8am-4pm or 1Micro offers a flexible schedule

Compensation:

$25-$35/hour, depending on experience Full benefits package including: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, and Paid Time Off (PTO) Requirements/Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Experience as a maintenance engineer preferred Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and heating systems Knowledge of EPA and OSHA guidelines Experience in workplace safety practices, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures Valid Class D license Forklift Certified preferred but not required Ability to lift 50 pounds
