Company Matching Retirement Plan (Simple IRA). The Role We are seeking a highly motivated Garage Door Technician to take ownership of a residential service and installation route.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation:

Assemble and install premium garage door systems, including tracks, torsion springs, cables, and door panels.

Service & Repair:

Diagnose mechanical issues, replace broken hardware, and perform routine maintenance and safety inspections to ensure optimal performance.

Opener Systems:

Install and program automated garage door openers (LiftMaster, Raynor), troubleshoot electrical issues, and integrate smart home/WiFi features.

Professionalism:

Communicate effectively with homeowners. Clearly present repair options (Good/Better/Best), capture signatures, and turn in clean, organized paperwork to our dispatch team.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or

GED. 2-3

years of hands-on experience with mechanical equipment, construction, or a related trades field (Previous garage door experience is highly preferred). Strong mechanical aptitude and basic electrical troubleshooting skills. Strong communication skills with other staff and customers. Ability to safely lift heavy materials and work in various Minnesota weather conditions. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
