Maintenance / Engineering Position Summary We are looking for dependable and hardworking Maintenance Technicians to join our hotel teams in Woodbury and Plymouth, Minnesota . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with general hotel maintenance, repairs, remodeling, and construction-related work . Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel. Repair walls, doors, flooring, ceilings, fixtures, and other building components. Perform basic painting, drywall, patching, caulking, and carpentry work. Assist with construction, remodeling, renovation, and improvement projects. Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs when qualified. Troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical and facility issues. Maintain guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and back-of-house areas. Respond to maintenance requests from hotel staff and management. Inspect equipment and building areas and report problems. Work with outside contractors and vendors when necessary. Follow hotel safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform other maintenance duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous maintenance, construction, remodeling, or handyman experience preferred. Hotel maintenance experience is a plus but not required. Knowledge of basic carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, and general repairs. Ability to safely use common hand and power tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Reliable, responsible, and punctual. Ability to lift, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical maintenance work. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Spanish language skills are a plus. Construction Experience Candidates with experience in construction, remodeling, carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, plumbing, electrical, or general building repair are strongly encouraged to apply.
