Apartment Building Maintenance Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and maintenance of our apartment building facilities. Duties Perform preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment, including plumbing, appliances, HVAC, painting, windows, doors, etc. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues. Drive to multiple different locations. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and future reference. Assist with construction or renovation projects and apartment turnovers. Lead small teams during maintenance tasks when necessary, demonstrating leadership qualities to coordinate efforts effectively. Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards across the facility. Requirements Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician. Hands-on experience with light plumbing, carpentry, painting etc. Knowledge of electrical systems and equipment repair is highly desirable. Ability to perform construction-related maintenance tasks safely and effectively. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide team members during maintenance projects. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in diagnostics and repairs. Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces. Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
