Job Description

Vending Maintenance Technician Jackson Brothers is seeking a dependable, self-motivated individual to join our team as a Vending Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable working independently, and able to use good judgment to troubleshoot problems and complete tasks efficiently. Previous vending, mechanical, electrical, or equipment repair experience is preferred but not required. Jackson Brothers provides an extensive, hands-on, on-site training program designed to teach the right candidate the equipment, troubleshooting techniques, and skills necessary to succeed in this position. Duties & Responsibilities The primary responsibility of the Vending Maintenance Technician is to diagnose, repair, maintain, and install vending and related equipment at customer locations.
Responsibilities include:
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair vending equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
  • Assist with vending machine installations, removals, and equipment moves.
  • Diagnose basic electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and equipment-related issues.
  • Respond to service calls and complete repairs efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of tools, equipment, and repair parts.
  • Keep company tools, service vehicles, and work areas clean and organized.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and other team members.
  • Accurately document completed service and repairs.
  • Follow company safety procedures and properly assess safety concerns before beginning work.
  • Assist other departments and team members when necessary. Qualifications
  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are essential.
  • Previous experience with vending equipment, electrical systems, refrigeration, HVAC, mechanical repair, or similar trades is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and use good judgment to determine solutions.
  • Ability to take direction and follow through on assigned responsibilities.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Organized and able to manage multiple service calls and priorities.
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills.
  • Valid driver's license required. Missouri Class E driver's license required or must be obtained.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical & Working Requirements This is a hands-on position that requires regular physical activity, including bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, climbing, lifting, and carrying equipment or parts. The position may require moving or assisting with moving heavy and bulky equipment. Flexibility is required based on service needs. Occasional after-hours, weekend, or emergency service may be necessary.
