In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and appearance of our building and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a comfortable, efficient environment by performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks across various systems and facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills in a fast-paced setting that values quality workmanship and customer service. Duties Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment to ensure continuous operation. Perform repairs on electrical equipment, plumbing systems, HVAC units, and building interior components using hand tools, schematics, and technical manuals. Troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and schematics to identify root causes and implement effective solutions swiftly. Carry out maintenance painting, carpentry repairs, welding tasks, and building interior upkeep to uphold facility standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used; utilize Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) procedures for inventory control. Assist with installation projects involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical equipment repair, or facilities equipment upgrades. Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client requests promptly while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Proficiency in electrical work including troubleshooting electrical systems and repairing electrical equipment; familiarity with schematics essential. Hands-on experience with plumbing system maintenance and repair; knowledge of plumbing codes preferred. Skilled in HVAC system repair and routine maintenance; understanding of HVAC components such as compressors, filters, thermostats is required. Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively; welding experience is a plus. Knowledge of building interior maintenance including painting (residential painting), carpentry, and general repairs. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical schematics for troubleshooting complex systems. Strong communication skills in English; ability to read technical manuals and schematics clearly. Experience working with maintenance tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment. Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
