With a focus on quality, safety and continuous improvement, the Hannibal team plays a crucial role in advancing Watlow's mission to enable cleaner, more efficient technologies. #PoweredByPossibility We are hiring a: Maintenance Mechanic Hannibal, MO Watlow is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Mechanic to help keep our manufacturing equipment and facility systems operating safely and reliably. In this role, you will troubleshoot equipment problems, complete repairs, perform preventive maintenance, and work with production and engineering teams to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance.

What You'll Do:
Troubleshoot and repair production machinery and mechanical equipment. Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, lubrication, oil changes, adjustments, and component replacements. Work with gears, bearings, belts, chains, pulleys, motors, pumps, conveyors, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems. Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters, calipers, micrometers, and other maintenance equipment. Read blueprints, equipment manuals, schematics, assembly drawings, and technical documentation. Perform basic electrical checks involving voltage, continuity, fuses, sensors, wiring, and connections. Respond to equipment breakdowns and help restore production safely and efficiently. Enter work performed, findings, and repair information into the maintenance work-order system. Communicate equipment issues and recommended actions to supervisors, engineers, and production team members. Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures, OSHA requirements, PPE rules, and all site safety standards. Support equipment installations, modifications, and continuous-improvement activities.What You'll Bring:
A high school diploma or GED. Hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, automotive repair, agricultural equipment, military maintenance, or a similar technical field. Strong mechanical aptitude and practical troubleshooting skills. Basic knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measurement tools. Basic computer skills and willingness to use a computerized maintenance management system. Ability to communicate clearly, work collaboratively, and document repairs accurately. Ability to perform the physical requirements of an industrial maintenance position.Preferred Qualifications:
Industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience. Technical education in industrial maintenance, mechanical technology, mechatronics, or a related discipline. Experience with conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings, valves, cylinders, and automated production equipment. Welding, fabrication, machining, rigging, or equipment-alignment experience.Benefits:
