Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment and systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably, contributing to a seamless environment for our operations. This position offers the opportunity to work with diverse mechanical systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, and appliances, while providing exceptional service to internal teams and clients alike. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and other mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Install new appliances and mechanical components following manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Troubleshoot complex issues related to air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical operations. Conduct repairs on mechanical systems including motors, pumps, belts, valves, and electrical wiring with precision and efficiency. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs. Operate company vehicles responsibly for on-site service calls or equipment deliveries as needed. Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and enhance overall operational efficiency. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients or internal stakeholders regarding repair timelines and system status. Lead small teams or assist in training new technicians in maintenance best practices when required. Qualifications Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair. Demonstrated ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for troubleshooting purposes. Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC system repair, appliance installation/maintenance, kitchen equipment upkeep, and general equipment repair. Experience working with maintenance operations including MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) activities. Construction experience or familiarity with building systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards. Knowledge of HVAC & appliance technology trends and safety protocols is highly desirable. Physical & Schedule Requirements Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, climb ladders, bend, kneel, work indoors and outdoors, and lift up to 50 pounds .
