We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Maintenance & Facilities Technician to help keep our school facilities safe, functional, and well-maintained. Schedule Monday - Friday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (Evening Shift) Compensation $20.07 per hour Essential Functions As a Maintenance & Facilities Technician, you will perform a variety of maintenance and repair duties, including but not limited to: Electrical repairs and troubleshooting Plumbing installation and repairs Grounds maintenance and care Carpentry work and repairs Floor tile installation and replacement Cold patch roof repairs Operation of maintenance equipment and tools Fence installation and repair Furniture and equipment assembly and repair Routine preventive maintenance of equipment Driveway and parking lot repairs Delivery of materials, equipment, and supplies throughout the district Loading and unloading materials from trucks Maintaining accurate inventory and work order records Performing additional maintenance-related duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Ability to work effectively with school staff, maintenance teams, vendors, and community members Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships Ability to work independently while following district policies, procedures, and safety standards Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Qualifications ✅ Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience required ✅ High School Diploma or GED ✅ Ability to lift up to 75 pounds ✅ Ability to work independently and safely ✅ Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented Additional Requirements Must successfully complete a fingerprint-based background check Fingerprinting costs are the responsibility of the applicant Why Join Us? ✔ Competitive pay at $20.07 per hour ✔ Consistent Monday-Friday evening schedule ✔ Opportunity to utilize and expand your maintenance skills ✔ Supportive team environment ✔ Meaningful work helping maintain safe and welcoming facilities for students and staff Apply Today!
