Full-time (40+ hrs/week; includes nights, weekends, and regional travel) About the Role Are you a hands-on technician who thrives in unique environments? We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Maintenance Technician to keep our premier entertainment and theater complexes running safely and smoothly. A majority of your day-to-day role will focus on high-reach maintenance; safely erecting and tearing down scaffolding, platforms, and staging to perform critical interior/exterior preventative maintenance. From high-ceiling fixture repairs and exterior touch-ups to troubleshooting complex motion-enhanced cinema seating (4DX, MX4D, recliners) and bowling pinsetters, no two days are the same.
Safely erect, inspect, utilize, and dismantle scaffolding, staging, or high-reach platforms for high-ceiling fixture repairs, high-wall paint touch-ups, and building maintenance inside and outside cinema locations.
Specialized Equipment Repair:
Perform mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic troubleshooting, calibration, and routine preventative maintenance on motion-enhanced cinema seating (4DX, MX4D, recliners), bowling pinsetters, and arcade equipment.
General Preventative Maintenance:
Manage and log preventative maintenance tasks through a mobile work-order ticketing system (aiming for a steady average of 15 completed tickets per week).
Facility & Environmental Upkeep:
Perform ongoing routine upkeep across building assets, including replacing high-ceiling lighting, servicing doors and hardware, patching/painting drywall, and maintaining HVAC filters to ensure a safe, functional, and guest-ready environment.
Regional Travel:
Travel locally and regionally between locations as needed. (Travel beyond 150 miles one-way includes overnight stays).
Qualifications Experience:
2-4+ years of hands-on experience in general building maintenance, commercial maintenance, and/ or mechanical equipment servicing. Must have experience with high-reach scaffolding/staging erection.
Technical Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude with experience handling hand and power tools, as well as basic electronic and pneumatic troubleshooting.
Physical Ability:
Comfortable working at elevated heights on ladders, scaffolding, and high-reach platforms. Ability to stand, climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch into tight spaces (e.g., behind pinsetters, under theater seating). Ability to frequently lift and transport up to 35 lbs., and occasionally assist with 50+ lbs.
Availability:
Must be able to work 40+ hours per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays depending on maintenance schedules.
Valid Driver's License:
Must have a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable personal vehicle with state minimum insurance for business travel.
