Job Description Responsible for the completion of the Equipment Checklist and Daily bag house readings. The list consists of various pieces of equipment, such as legs, screws, conveyors, belts, pumps, blowers and fans that must be periodically checked for belt tightness, alignment, leaks, oil level, etc. according to the maintenance manager. Job Duties Other duties may be assigned. Daily bag house readings, and equipment checklist as needed. Performs routine maintenance such as lubricating, fueling and cleaning; notifies management of need for repairs. Perform light maintenance work and a variety of sanitation duties daily. Occasionally operates forklift and heavy machinery. Recommend and implement process improvements as approved. Consult with Supervisor as needed. Work within a team environment. Responsible for complying with all safety rules, procedures and good manufacturing practices set forth by the company and the government. Complete all related paperwork. Greet and communicate with visitors and represent the company in a professional manner. The employee must have ability to lift up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED plus specialized training and/or additional college courses and two years of related experience and/or training; and a minimum of 1-6 months of experience preferred.
