Job Title:
Maintenance Technician Job Description This role is a multi-craft industrial maintenance technician position in a manufacturing and production environment. You inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical production equipment to minimize downtime, performing both reactive and preventive maintenance while strictly following all safety protocols. You work with a variety of hand and power tools to keep equipment running reliably and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on production equipment to minimize unplanned downtime. Conduct both reactive and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and systems. Troubleshoot equipment issues using knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial systems. Inspect machines and components regularly to identify wear, potential failures, and maintenance needs. Use appropriate hand and power tools to repair, adjust, and replace mechanical and electrical parts. Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and precautions related to maintenance activities and equipment operation. Document maintenance work performed and communicate equipment status to production and maintenance teams. Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying recurring issues and suggesting maintenance or equipment improvements. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from production to keep lines running smoothly. Work effectively on a night shift schedule to provide maintenance coverage during production hours. Essential Skills Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical equipment issues. Hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatic systems in an industrial setting. Ability to perform preventive maintenance and maintenance repair on production machinery. Proficiency using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices, standards, and basic safety regulations. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols. Capability to work independently on a night shift and manage multiple maintenance tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Any education related to maintenance, industrial technology, or a similar field is a plus. Relevant maintenance or industrial certifications are considered an advantage. Experience in a climate-controlled manufacturing or production facility is beneficial. Openings are for a night shift schedule from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., requiring comfort with extended shifts and overnight work. You work around industrial machinery and use hand and power tools regularly, following established safety protocols at all times. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Monett, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $66560.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
