The salary for this position is $43,200 annually. The hours are Monday - Thursday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., plus required call-ins for storms, snow plowing, etc. The City provides a full, competitive benefits package, including health, dental and vision insurance, short and long term disability, fitness reimbursement, LAGERS, deductible reimbursement, uniform allowance, PTO, and a supplemental 457 plan. This position is responsible for performing grounds maintenance, custodial work (including cleaning park bathrooms), and landscaping duties, as well as assisting the Public Words Department with snow removal, concrete work, etc. Must have experience operating hand-held manual, electrical, and gas-powered tools and equipment (i.e. lawn mower, chainsaw, weed eater, blower, hedger) and operating heavy equipment as necessary.
