Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance and production team. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing industrial machinery and equipment while helping ensure safe, efficient plant operations. You will be required to provide your own tools. Schedule 12-Hour Rotating Schedule (2-2-3) - Overnights Requirements Minimum of 3 years of industrial manufacturing experience Formal training in specialty areas such as: Pneumatics Hydraulics Mechanical systems PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) Instrumentation Strong mechanical troubleshooting and analytical skills Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, adjust, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment Troubleshoot mechanical problems and identify equipment malfunctions Assemble machinery using hand and power tools and welding equipment Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to position machinery and components Start up, shut down, set up, and adjust equipment as needed Inspect machinery and equipment for irregularities and defects Perform preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and routine service Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS system Support planned plant shutdowns and emergency repairs Operate and monitor process control machinery and equipment Help ensure equipment operates efficiently and within required process parameters Fabricate and repair components using machine tools and metalworking equipment Assist with welding, cutting, grinding, machining, and fabrication as needed Follow all safety, environmental, housekeeping, and operational procedures Assist with training new employees and support maintenance teams during major repairs and outages Work Environment This position requires working in a manufacturing environment that may include heat, noise, dust, moving equipment, heights, and physically demanding conditions . Candidates must be able to stand, bend, climb, and work at heights as required and be willing to work additional hours during emergencies or scheduled shutdowns. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a dependable, mechanically skilled professional who can troubleshoot problems, work independently, follow safety procedures, and respond effectively to equipment issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
