Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment and facility systems. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and vacuum system problems. Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime. Install, maintain, and repair motors, drives, controls, sensors, electrical panels, wiring, and related components. Troubleshoot and repair printing, folding, cutting, packaging, baling, shredding, and material-handling equipment. Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, manuals, and technical drawings. Assist with equipment installations, moves, upgrades, and modifications. Maintain compressors, pumps, vacuum systems, dust collection, HVAC, plumbing, and other facility equipment. Perform general building and facility repairs as needed. Complete preventive maintenance records, work orders, and equipment documentation. Maintain electrical and maintenance spare-parts inventory. Follow all OSHA, lockout/tagout (LOTO), electrical safety, machine guarding, and PPE requirements. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Work with production employees, supervisors, vendors, contractors, and equipment manufacturers to resolve equipment issues. Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong industrial electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of motors, drives, controls, electrical panels, pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial equipment. Ability to safely use electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools. Ability to work independently and effectively with others. High school diploma or GED required. Technical or vocational training preferred. Journeyman/Industrial Electrician License or equivalent certification preferred. 3-5 years of industrial maintenance/electrical experience preferred. Manufacturing or printing experience preferred. Ability to work overtime or adjusted schedules when needed. Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in tight or elevated areas. Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to work from ladders, platforms, and lifts. Work around moving machinery, electrical equipment, noise, dust, oils, chemicals, and varying temperatures. Ability to safely operate forklifts and aerial lifts after proper training and authorization.
