American Products -
Strafford MO Weekend Shift:
Saturday-Monday 5:30am-5:30pm
Pay:
$26-$28/hour + 20% Shift Differential Position Overview American Products is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician II to support plant operations by maintaining and repairing production equipment and facility systems. This role is key to ensuring uptime, safety, and efficiency across our manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PMs) independently Diagnose equipment issues including motors, switches, breakers, and power systems Work with 480V, 230V (3-phase), and single-phase electrical systems Disassemble and repair machinery to correct malfunctions Fabricate or repair parts using shop equipment (lathe, drill press, grinder, welding) Inspect components for wear, misalignment, or failure Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Support facility maintenance needs as required Qualifications 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics Experience working with CMMS systems Industrial Maintenance certification (or currently enrolled) preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Why Join American Products $26-$28/hour based on experience 4-day work week (Monday-Thursday) Consistent 2nd shift schedule Growth and advancement opportunities Stable, full-time manufacturing environment Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand/walk for extended periods Lift up to 50 lbs regularly Work in a safety-sensitive environment Must wear PPE (steel toe boots, safety glasses)
