You will help ensure guest rooms, public areas, equipment, building systems, and exterior spaces are maintained properly and operating safely and efficiently. Your ability to identify problems, complete repairs, and prevent future issues will help keep the hotel operating at its best. What You Will Do Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel. Troubleshoot and repair basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building systems . Inspect guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and exterior spaces. Respond promptly to guest and departmental maintenance requests. Repair and maintain doors, locks, fixtures, furniture, lighting, appliances, and hotel equipment. Complete maintenance work orders accurately and efficiently. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance inspections and tasks. Assist with maintaining HVAC systems, water systems, laundry equipment, and other hotel equipment. Identify recurring maintenance issues and communicate concerns to Engineering leadership. Assist with emergency repairs and urgent maintenance situations. Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance areas in a clean and organized condition. Assist with property improvement projects, renovations, inspections, and vendor projects. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation. Follow all Hilton brand standards, safety procedures, and company policies . Provide professional and courteous service to guests and team members. What We're Looking For Previous experience in hotel maintenance, facilities, building maintenance, construction, or a related technical field preferred. Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to safely use hand and power tools. Ability to diagnose basic maintenance issues and determine appropriate solutions. Reliable, dependable, and willing to take ownership of assigned responsibilities. Strong attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple maintenance requests and priorities. Ability to work independently while supporting the Engineering team.
