Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems to ensure optimal production efficiency and safety. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge, along with experience in industrial maintenance within manufacturing facilities. Your expertise will support our commitment to operational excellence by minimizing downtime and enhancing equipment reliability through proactive maintenance and technical problem-solving. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical components. Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues using schematics, blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments. Diagnose and resolve equipment failures promptly to minimize production disruptions. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance history, and inventory levels. Conduct electrical diagnostics and repairs on industrial machinery, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, and control panels. Operate various tools and machinery safely, including stick welding equipment, scissor lifts, and other industrial maintenance tools. Read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately to facilitate effective troubleshooting and repairs. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement improvements in equipment performance and reliability. Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety standards. Support the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing systems as needed. Requirements Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment; familiarity with manufacturing facility operations is highly desirable. Strong technical skills in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting pneumatic systems, hydraulics, and mechanical repairs. Hands-on experience with CMMS software for work order management. Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and calipers. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC/R systems, welding techniques (stick welding), and industrial electrician practices. Ability to operate scissor lifts safely; relevant certification is preferred. Experience with electrical blueprint reading and engineering troubleshooting methods. Excellent analysis skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks. Effective communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration. Relevant certifications or training in HVAC/R systems, electrical maintenance or industrial mechanics are advantageous.
