Lead Facility Technician

Description:
The Lead Facility Technician is responsible for supporting the maintenance, repair, improvement, cleanliness, and overall appearance of the company's buildings and exterior grounds. This position may serve as the lead on assigned facility projects and requires hands-on experience in building maintenance, construction, groundskeeping, and equipment operation.
Requirements:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform weekly maintenance and cleaning of facility lifts. Assist with and lead assigned building and facility projects as needed. Complete concrete patching and minor concrete repairs. Support facility additions, renovations, and improvement projects. Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, HVAC upkeep, construction, and general building repairs. Maintain the grounds surrounding the main facility, dumpsters, and adjacent company property. Perform lawn care, including mowing, trimming, and general grounds cleanup. Grade driveways and areas surrounding dumpsters using a skid steer. Keep the pallet storage area outside the Blending Department neatly stacked, organized, and maintained. Keep oil totes properly stacked and arranged in designated areas. Monitor oil totes and notify the appropriate manager when they are ready to be pumped out. Maintain clean, safe, and accessible indoor and outdoor work areas. Inspect facility and grounds conditions and promptly report safety, maintenance, or equipment concerns. Maintain tools and equipment in a clean and serviceable condition. Assist the Facilities Department with additional projects and responsibilities as needed. Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and applicable environmental requirements. Qualifications Previous experience in facility maintenance, groundskeeping, construction, or a related field. Experience in carpentry, plumbing, concrete repair, and general building maintenance. Experience safely operating a skid steer is required. Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and lawn-care practices. Experience leading or coordinating facility projects is preferred. Strong mechanical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and respond to changing priorities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, safety, cleanliness, and organization. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental and weather conditions.
