Building Maintenance- Athletics Job Summary:
Assists in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of basic equipment and facilities to ensure property meets established standards.
Job Description:
The Maintenance Technician performs general maintenance, repair, and preventive-maintenance work to support the safe and efficient operation of Ole Miss Athletics facilities, equipment, and property.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintains accurate records of inspections, work performed, preventive-maintenance activities, parts used, and service referrals. Assists with event-related facility preparation, setup, teardown, and repair needs for athletic competitions, practices, camps, and departmental events, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Supports a safe, clean, and functional environment for student-athletes, coaches, staff, guests, and visitors by following applicable safety procedures, University policies, and departmental standards. Collaborates with Athletics Facilities, University Facilities Management, contractors, and other campus partners to coordinate maintenance projects and address facility needs. Performs other duties as assigned in support of Ole Miss Athletics facilities and operations.
Substitution Statement:
