Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing operations team. This role is essential in ensuring the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of industrial equipment and systems across our facility. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive mechanical and electrical expertise, along with a strong background in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance. Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and production equipment. Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance. Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control-system problems. Repair or replace motors, pumps, bearings, gearboxes, belts, chains, conveyors, valves, and related components. Read and interpret equipment manuals, mechanical drawings, schematics, and blueprints. Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, welding equipment, and diagnostic devices. Install, align, adjust, and test new or repaired machinery. Respond promptly to breakdowns and minimize production downtime. Document maintenance activities, repairs, parts usage, and equipment condition. Maintain tools, spare parts, and a clean, organized work area. Follow lockout/tagout procedures and all workplace safety requirements. Work with production employees, electricians, engineers, contractors, and other maintenance personnel. Identify recurring failures and recommend equipment or process improvements. Other duties assigned High school diploma or GED required; technical school or apprenticeship training preferred. Three or more years of industrial maintenance or mechanical repair experience preferred. Working knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, and industrial electrical systems. Ability to troubleshoot equipment systematically and complete repairs safely. Basic welding, fabrication, machining, and electrical skills are beneficial. Ability to use computerized maintenance management systems and basic computer applications. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
