Apartment Maintenance Technician -
Immediate Opening Billings, MT Pay:
$24.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Career Strategies is seeking an experienced and dependable Apartment Maintenance Technician to join an apartment community in Billings, MT. We're looking for someone with hands-on maintenance experience who can troubleshoot repairs, complete work orders, and help keep the community and apartment homes in excellent condition.
What You'll Do:
Complete apartment maintenance work orders and respond to resident service requests. Perform general repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliances, and other building systems. Assist with apartment turns and make-ready work to prepare vacant units for new residents. Troubleshoot maintenance issues and determine appropriate repairs. Perform preventative maintenance throughout the property. Inspect apartments, common areas, and property grounds for maintenance concerns. Assist with maintaining the appearance and overall condition of the community. Communicate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager regarding repairs and property needs. Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
What We're Looking For:
Previous apartment maintenance or residential maintenance experience preferred . Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and general maintenance . Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to complete work orders efficiently and professionally. Reliable transportation. Dependable with strong attendance and a solid work ethic.
