Job Description

Keeping our entire resort and rejuvenating pools clean and beautiful is a full time job! It takes diligence, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and pride in your work. We are seeking a night/graveyard/weekend candidate who will work alternating shifts performing a variety of maintenance tasks with a strong focus on pools maintenance.
SCHEDULE
10:00 p.m. to 6 a.m., specific nights to be determined; however, position is FT - 40 hours per week. Pay is $18.00 per hour to start, wage review at 6 months Tasks/Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Pool chemical testing and water balance adjustments. Pool cleaning and janitorial work including heavy scrubbing with brushes and power washing. Responding professionally and politely to coworkers, vendors, and guests. This must be done with a "How Can I Help" attitude! Pick up and disposal of trash resort wide on occasion. Repairing/maintaining equipment or structures using hand tools and power tools. Performing all tasks while keeping health and safety in mind. Administrative/office work which includes completing and documenting various logs and reports, sending emails, and preparing various forms.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Outstanding communication skills. Ability to respond to requests and follow instructions from managers, coworkers, etc. Ability to determine best course of action to accommodate the request often in emergency situations Knowledge of and ability to use large variety of hand tools and power tools, this includes the ability to determine which tools to use for tasks. Knowledge of or ability to learn chemistry and mathematics for pools maintenance. Intermediate computer and office skills to send emails, scan documents, and fill out logs, reports, and forms.
Experience:
Previous experience working with pools or CPO designation preferred but not required. We will train the right person!
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and walking Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, crawl, access awkward spaces Work in water every shift Willingness/ability to work in inclement weather (extreme heat or cold) Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
