In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing residential multifamily properties to ensure optimal living conditions for residents. Your expertise in facilities maintenance, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical repairs will be vital in delivering exceptional service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead maintenance efforts, supervise junior staff, and contribute to the overall quality of our properties. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment Troubleshoot and repair issues using schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals Conduct welding and residential painting as needed to maintain property aesthetics and safety standards Utilize Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Ohmmeters to diagnose system malfunctions effectively Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Supervise maintenance staff or contractors during complex repairs or projects Read and interpret schematics to ensure precise repairs and installations in facilities maintenance tasks Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance and manufacturing environments Proficiency with electrical systems, schematics, PLCs, welding techniques, and the use of Ohmmeters Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English Experience supervising or leading maintenance teams with leadership capabilities Knowledge of residential painting techniques and basic carpentry skills Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and record keeping Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting and repair using schematics and technical manuals Join our team to make a tangible difference in maintaining high-quality living environments!
