Job Description

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT
We are seeking a dedicated Drives Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Department. This role focuses on the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various drive systems used in our production equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering or a related field, with specific expertise in motor drives and control systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Perform routine maintenance and inspections of drive systems, including AC/DC drives, servo drives, and variable frequency drives (VFDs)
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maintain the efficiency of drive systems
  • Provide technical support and training to other maintenance staff on drive system operations and troubleshooting
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations related to drive systems and electrical work.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, system modifications, and repairs. Collaborate with the engineering team to upgrade drive systems and integrate new technologies. Diagnose and repair faults in drive systems and related components.
