Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Part time (24-32 Hours per week primarly PM shift) Maintenance Staff member to ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks across building systems and equipment. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for our Guests and staff. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills in a dynamic setting while contributing to the smooth functioning of our hotel. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior components to ensure operational efficiency. Repair and maintain facilities equipment using hand tools, power tools, schematics, and technical manuals. Perform electrical work including wiring, troubleshooting circuits, and repairing electrical equipment with precision and safety awareness. Carry out plumbing maintenance and repairs such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and maintaining plumbing systems. Execute maintenance painting projects to uphold the aesthetic quality of interior spaces. Use programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and ohmmeters to diagnose issues with automated systems and electrical circuits. Support carpentry tasks including repairs or modifications to building structures or fixtures as needed. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including schematics, work orders, and inspection logs. Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of maintenance requests. Provide excellent customer service by addressing facility concerns promptly and professionally. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related roles with a strong background in repair and operations (MRO). Hands-on knowledge of HVAC systems repair, electrical work, plumbing system maintenance, carpentry, welding, and painting. Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, PLCs, ohmmeters, hand tools, power tools, and electrical equipment repair techniques. Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately for troubleshooting purposes. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience to handle diverse maintenance challenges efficiently. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Pay:
