Job Description

Sampson Regional Medical Center is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to join the Facility Operations Department!
Description:
The selected candidate will perform a variety of installations, repairs and preventative maintenance duties. They work on a variety of equipment and locations within the hospital and hospital properties including grounds maintenance. Candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to make changes to Building Automation Systems, troubleshoot all boilers, record generator readings, and troubleshoot all chillers. Must be capable of repairing or replacing sheaths and mechanical seals associated with electrical motors. Must possess advanced level skills with HVAC, Electrical, and/or Plumbing.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equavalent required. Limited/Unlimited license from the State of North Carolina in HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing required. Must be able to climb ladders Must be able to demonstrate skills and knowledge of trades Requires the physical ability to safely operate all equipment
Hours:
This is a full-time position normally working 8-hours a day, five days per week. Subject to callback at any time if needed. May be required to work long hours in emergency situations. May be required to work other hours for effective operation of the department as assigned and authorized by Director. Will be required to take call on a rotating basis with other Mechanics to provide 24 hours a day coverage and weekend coverage. Your Health, Our Passion!
