Job Description
Job description Property Management Company accepting resumes for the position of Maintenance Technician. Maintenance Techs perform maintenance tasks of unit turns, fulfilling work orders, and preventative maintenance. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with attention to detail and be able to work responsibly, independently as well as with a team! The goal is to maintain the buildings, common areas, and units in the best possible condition. This is a 40 hour per week position with the added responsibility of rotating afterhours with maintenance team. Work hours are from Mon-Fri 8 am-5 pm, in the Elizabeth City, NC area. Responsibilities, include but not limited too, Fix/Change Locks Install/Repair window coverings Caulking Unit painting and/or touch up painting Repair/Replace Drywall (patching) Inspect and Coordinate all make-ready repairs with Site Manager Remove, transfer, replace heavy appliances Assists in keeping grounds neat and free of litter Assist in unit inspections with the Site Manager Must have the ability to select appropriate materials needed for the property Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. maintaining the cleanliness of the property) and other tasks as assigned Must be aware of the condition of apartments and the overall property and immediately initiate action to correct unsafe conditions Maintain consistent work flow of maintenance building, including cleanliness and organization. Performs on-call emergency service as requested and or set up applicable vendor, if/when needed. Must possess basic set of tools
