Job Description
Accentuate Staffing has partnered with a well-established manufacturing organization that supports critical industrial and safety-focused markets. This company is known for producing specialized products used in demanding environments and is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help ensure equipment reliability, facility functionality, and operational efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional seeking a stable first-shift position with a growing organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience troubleshooting and repairing water pumps, plumbing systems, and industrial equipment. In this role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, support facility operations, handle shipping and receiving activities, and collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime. Success in this position requires strong mechanical aptitude, solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, water pumps, plumbing systems, and facility infrastructure to maximize uptime. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and basic electrical issues using appropriate tools, testing equipment, and maintenance procedures. Conduct routine inspections to identify equipment wear, safety concerns, and potential failures before they impact operations. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports, and inventory documentation through digital and manual tracking systems. Support shipping, receiving, and material handling functions, including verifying documentation, inspecting incoming goods, and coordinating inventory movement. Work closely with operations, production, and management teams to schedule repairs, support equipment upgrades, and ensure a safe and efficient work environment.Qualifications:
Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of training and substantial maintenance experience. Strong hands-on experience with water pumps, plumbing systems, mechanical equipment troubleshooting, and industrial maintenance practices. Basic to intermediate electrical maintenance knowledge, including the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment-related issues. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation. Proficiency with computerized maintenance systems, recordkeeping tools, and standard computer applications. This is a small company so candidates must be willing to assist in material handling activities as needed Forklift operating experience and the physical ability to lift materials, climb, and work in various industrial environments while following safety standards. #accentuate1Pay:
