Gastonia, NC Temporary-to-hire opportunity with career growth and stability Weekly Pay with direct deposit or pay card When you work through The Reserves Network, you are eligible to enroll in dental, vision and medical insurance as well as 401K, direct deposit and our referral bonus program Job Description We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support production and quality by ensuring machinery, mechanical equipment, and facility systems operate safely and efficiently. This role performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment adjustments using diagrams, manuals, specifications, and precision tools. The ideal candidate has a strong industrial maintenance background and is comfortable working with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and general facility maintenance needs.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot engines, motors, pneumatic tools, production machinery, and other mechanical equipment. Diagnose equipment problems, remove defective parts, make adjustments, and complete repairs using hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, and precision measuring instruments. Support production uptime by monitoring equipment performance, communicating preventive maintenance practices, and fabricating repair parts when needed. Maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventories while keeping work areas and facility systems safe, clean, and properly maintained.
Qualifications and Requirements:
3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, electrical, HVAC, or a similar technical field. High School Diploma or GED required; continuing education or safety/OSHA training preferred. Working knowledge of equipment maintenance, power tools, mechanical troubleshooting, and basic safety practices. Strong attention to detail with the flexibility and ability to multitask in a production environment.
