We are a dedicated pool construction, renovation, and leak detection company specializing in ground-up builds, complex remodels, and precision diagnostic work. In this hands-on, year-round role, you will work alongside experienced tradespeople to build new fiberglass and vinyl liner pools, perform full structural vinyl pool renovations, locate structural/plumbing leaks, and build custom outdoor living spaces. We do not do weekly cleaning routes or routine servicing—this is genuine building, mechanical, and diagnostic trade work.
Key Responsibilities New Pool Construction:
Assist with site layout, setting elevations and grade lines, screeding gravel bases, guiding crane/excavator placement for fiberglass shells, assembly of vinyl pool panel walls, backfilling, and running primary plumbing lines.
Vinyl Pool Renovations & Remodels:
Strip old vinyl liners; remove, retrofit, or replace stairs and benches; repair and prep vermiculite/grout floors and metal/polymer walls; install custom-measured liners, coping, and faceplates/fittings.
Specialized Leak Detection & Repairs:
Support residential and commercial leak detection across vinyl, fiberglass, concrete, gunite, and plaster pools. Set up pressure-testing manifolds, hydrophones/listening gear, gas-tracing rigs, and dye testing tools. Assist in line pressure testing and structural leak repairs.
Equipment Upgrades & Plumbing:
Assist in replacing and plumbing pumps, filters, heaters, salt systems, and automation.
Hardscapes & Outdoor Living:
Assist with pool decking, coping installations, decorative water features, pool lighting, and site landscaping.
What We're Looking For Physical Stamina & Outdoor Grit:
Comfortable working 100% outdoors in North Carolina summer heat, winter cold, and variable conditions. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, dig, kneel, bend, and stay active on your feet all day.
Trade Fundamentals:
Prior experience in general construction, plumbing, landscaping/hardscaping, or pool building is preferred, but we will train motivated individuals with solid mechanical aptitude.
Reliability & Communication:
Punctual, dependable, and communicative with a pride-in-craftsmanship mindset.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable personal transportation to our shop and local job sites.
