Maintenance experience (2 Years minimum): (Required) ERP system experience: (Preferred) CMC is a manufacturing facility that is to provide up-jacketed central strength member (CSM) and filler rods to the Fiber Optic cable industry. CMC is expanding into the manufacturing space, migrating from a CSM (FRP) distributor solely, to offering our customers an Up-jacket and Filler rod manufacturing service.

Maintenance Technician Description:

This role will report directly to the Process Engineering Manager. As part of the maintenance team your primary role will be to ensure that equipment operates efficiently through the effective use of preventative maintenance, calibration, and prompt breakdown repair.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot equipment failure and perform root cause analysis.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair work that requires equipment downtime per designated schedule.
• Properly complete maintenance work orders.
• Keep coordinators, supervisors, and operators informed of any changes or issues while performing routine maintenance
• Support production and engineering departments with all necessary maintenance repair needs.
• Work with outside contractors for PM's and repairs
• Procure needed parts for projects or machine repair as required
• Work in a team environment that fosters safety awareness and mutual respect.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

Manufacturing industry experience. (Required) Strong computer skills. (Preferred)
