THE OPPORTUNITY

Maintenance Technician, 1st-shift, full-time, needed to perform maintenance and troubleshooting on corrugated container converting machinery. Role is newly created to add to our current team of maintenance staff. Potential for supervisory role.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Adhere to all safety guidelines and promote a safe work environment for all fellow employees. Effectively troubleshoot and repair manufacturing machinery. Perform preventative maintenance procedures. Troubleshoot the electrical and mechanical components of corrugated converting equipment. PLC experience strongly desired. Must be a self-starter that can plan and execute tasks with minimal supervision. Must be capable of reading electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics. Must interface with senior management and vendors. Must be proficient in analyzing equipment documentation and possess computer skills. Demonstrate ability to train/coach proper maintenance procedures to machine crews.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Have a minimum of 7 years experience with a strong electrical and mechanical skill set. Corrugated container converting machinery experience preferred. Ability to troubleshoot the electrical and mechanical components of corrugated converting equipment. PLC experience strongly desired, Must provide own hand tools. Must have a valid NC driver's license. Clean background check and MVR required for employment
