Job Description

INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES MAINTENANCE

Responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining production and facility equipment and provide support, which includes adhering to all policy and procedures for safe work environment. Specific duties are not limited but cover a broad spectrum of machinery and processes: Maintain operation goals that includes: mechanical drives, hydraulics, belts, chains, drive motors, motor controls, electrical conveyors, sprockets and pneumatics, follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals to ensure proper operations. Maintain preventative maintenance operations to ensure all moving equipment are in proper working order for maximum efficiency. Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment. Maintain and support repair parts inventory to facilitate repairs and support of little or zero down time. Maintain and open line of communication for anticipated repairs or troubleshooting to prevent major repairs while optimizing production. Work in a safe manner to assure compliance with ALL safety rules and procedures of EWPI-communicating safety daily with management. Perform other duties as assigned.

Specific Duties By Area:

Excellent Attendance Excellent Physical Coordination 3 to 5 years' experience to include specialized training in general maintenance and welding. Knowledge of AC & DC motors and controls. Thorough knowledge of welding procedures and safety precautions. Work overtime as needed to maintain equipment for normal shift operations. Monitor and correct worn or questionable moving parts etc. by Performing daily preventative maintenance. Work in a safe manner with special emphasis on EWPI welding permit procedures. Lock Out Tag Out and EWPI safety rules and regulations. Keep work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
