This position requires a technical expert who is comfortable troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair metalworking machinery, with a focus on high-speed stamping and punch presses. Utilize expertise in mechanical and servo-driven feed systems for metal strip feeding. Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical drive systems, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and CNC controls. Conduct electrical troubleshooting, using various instruments to test and trace electrical currents. Work with PLC drive units and electronic controls specific to metal processing equipment. Contributes to the installation, repair, and rigging of heavy machinery. Execute metal fabrication tasks such as operating milling machines, grinders, cutting equipment, welding, drill presses, and basic machining. Must have strong electrical background up to 480
V Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience with high-speed stamping or punch presses. Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and machinery. Experience with CNC and PLC-controlled systems in a manufacturing environment. #PSDH
