Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Part Time Facility Maintenance Tech. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal production performance. Your technical knowledge and proactive approach will help minimize downtime, improve safety standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills directly impact operational excellence. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic systems, pneumatic tools, and mechanical components. Troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics, multimeters (ohmmeters, ammeters), and other precision measuring instruments to identify faults quickly and accurately. Operate and maintain industrial machinery such as scissor lifts, HVAC/R systems, and equipment—including specific welding techniques—adhering to safety standards. Document work, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks efficiently. Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings for accurate repairs and modifications. Support field service activities by providing on-site technical assistance for equipment installation, troubleshooting, or upgrades as needed. Skills Extensive experience working within a manufacturing facility environment with strong industrial mechanic background. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC systems (including HVAC/R), and welding techniques Ability to operate lifts safely while adhering to OSHA regulations; valid certification preferred. Strong electrical experience covering low voltage systems up to high voltage applications; industrial electrician experience is highly desirable. Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly in English with team members or clients when needed. Experience in industrial maintenance roles within field service environments is a plus; demonstrates adaptability under pressure. Pay:
