Job Description

Position Summary This position is responsible for performing routine and corrective maintenance for facility infrastructure, utilities, and material handling equipment in a food distribution warehouse environment. The role supports daily operations by ensuring the facility and equipment remain safe, functional, and reliable. Key Responsibilities Perform routine preventative maintenance on facility systems, equipment, and material handling equipment Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, mechanical, and utility issues (lighting, outlets, breakers, HVAC, plumbing, doors, docks, etc.) Conduct visual inspections of equipment and facilities to identify safety hazards or maintenance needs Support basic maintenance of forklifts and battery charging areas (coordination with vendors when needed) Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and organized condition Respond to maintenance service requests during scheduled work hours Assist with setup, breakdown, and relocation of warehouse or processing equipment as needed Follow company safety policies and OSHA guidelines at all times Report unsafe conditions, incidents, or equipment issues to management promptly Perform other facility-related duties as assigned Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED 2+ years of experience in facility maintenance, warehouse maintenance, or similar environment Basic knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems Ability to read basic electrical or mechanical diagrams Ability to communicate effectively in English Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred Experience in food distribution, food processing, or cold/dry storage facilities HVAC, electrical, or mechanical troubleshooting experience Forklift operation experience Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and perform manual labor Ability to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally Comfortable working in warehouse environments with temperature variation

$17.00 - $30.00 per hour
