Hoke Building Supply is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Window & Door Sales Specialist to join our team. This position works directly with builders, contractors, remodelers, and homeowners to help select, quote, order, and coordinate window and door products from start to finish. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, solving problems, managing details, collaborating with a team, and seeing a project through from the initial quote to final delivery. Previous experience with windows, doors, millwork, building materials, construction, estimating, or related sales. What You'll Do Assist customers with selecting windows, exterior doors, interior doors, patio doors, and related products Provide product recommendations based on customer needs, project requirements, budget, design preferences, and applicable building codes Prepare accurate estimates and quotations using manufacturer software and company systems Explain product features, options, warranties, availability, and lead times Follow up on outstanding quotes and sales opportunities Build strong, long-term relationships with builders, contractors, remodelers, and homeowners Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after the sale Estimating & Order Management Enter sales orders and special orders accurately Verify measurements, specifications, sizes, colors, glass packages, hardware, and other product details before placing orders Review plans, drawings, and customer-provided information to help ensure products are quoted and ordered correctly Coordinate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and order status Track orders from purchase through delivery Resolve ordering discrepancies, shortages, damages, and warranty claims promptly Project Coordination Keep customers informed regarding order status, changes, and delivery schedules Coordinate with the delivery department to help ensure accurate and timely deliveries Work closely with outside sales representatives and other departments to meet customer expectations Maintain organized project files and documentation Assist customers with product literature, installation resources, and warranty information Vendor & Product Knowledge Maintain positive working relationships with manufacturer representatives Stay current on new products, pricing, promotions, availability, and industry trends Participate in product training and manufacturer education as needed What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED Previous window, door, millwork, building materials, construction, estimating, or related sales experience Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Computer proficiency and the ability to learn estimating and ordering software Ability to read blueprints and construction plans Strong problem-solving skills Ability to follow an order from quote through delivery Dependable and professional, with a strong work ethic and commitment to follow-through Team-oriented with the ability to communicate and work effectively with sales, operations, delivery, vendors, and customers Schedule & Compensation Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:15 PM Starting at $25.00 per hour, with pay based on experience. Overtime may be required during peak seasons and is compensated accordingly.
