If you have a "Passion for Perfection" and a "Passion for Service", this job is for you! Our Maintenance Engineer carry out assigned duties to assist the General Manager in maintaining the hotel's buildings, grounds and equipment. Ensure all public areas, rooms, and grounds are in good condition Ensure that the building is properly maintained by cleaning siding and walkways Ensure that vacant rooms are in good repair, including but not limited to walls, appliances, furniture, carpet, and cabinets Perform preventive maintenance of guest rooms on a scheduled basis Knowledge of security and safety equipment including location and operation Notify GM immediately of any safety or security violations Notify GM of any guest concerns Reconcile daily paperwork with supervisor prior to end of shift Requires regular lifting/moving of up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds, as well as frequent walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and/or crawling. Carry out assigned tasks from the GM. Handle maintenance requests from hotel departments. Execute special projects as directed by the GM. Perform other duties as assigned. Fundamental Requirements Prior experience as a Maintenance Assistant is required. To be successful, you will need Basic English communication skills. This job requires standing and walking 100% of the time, regularly bending, pushing, pulling, carrying, and the ability to perform repetitive motions for the entire shift. This job requires you to be able to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50lbs •
